When the alternative is Drew Lock, you take what Geno gives you, and so far that's been exactly what he is: good enough to win more games than he loses. The rest needs to be made up by the run game and the defense, but all anyone wants to talk about is benching Geno.

It’s a team game, no doubt, I just personally don’t trust Geno, he has mental moments and that’s not good in the playoffs… Drew could offer more stability, but then again maybe he won’t, it’s an unknown thing with him, with Geno we know exactly what we’re gonna get… But it doesn’t matter anyway, Pete is going Geno regardless and he’s the coach …

I'd love to hear your reasoning for the rest of the team showing it's good enough to be held back by Geno. The defense that couldn't stop a 3rd down to save their lives? The Oline that got its shit pushed in time and time again by a sub par Titans Dline? Those boneheaded penalties by everyone not playing QB all game long?

I think we all know that Geno is limited. But he's been 4-2 in crunch time games. And he's a missed field goal away from being 5-1. You can't really ask for more than that.

Yeah he’s had some good moments, and I’ve openly praised him for those moments.. but then he’ll leave you scratching your head, which is where he keeps us from being as consistent as we could be .. He’s our guy right now so we gotta roll with him

Yeah we're going to be either the 6 or 7, so we'll be at Detroit or NFCE winner. Whoever finishes 2nd in the NFCE is going to be pissed about not getting that home game (and probably 2 seed), but the consolation will be playing the NFCS winner.

And I've been vocal as anyone about upgrading from Geno as well... in the off-season, because I trust Drew Lock even less than Geno.

Yes, it's a team game, which is why my frustration lies much more in the Oline not playing well, the play calling being mediocre at best, and the defense not being able to get just a few stops on the plus side of the field to make Geno's job slightly less impossible.

Blaming Geno for not being better every game is kinda like blaming Felix for not being perfect when the M's constantly gave him 3 runs or less game after game. Of course he's gonna lose a few games; the margin of error is razor thin because the other pieces aren't picking up the slack.

20-17 vs Eagles is much more impressive than 20-17 vs the Titans and its not debatable. Also a defense giving up only 17 points is a defense iwill take EVERY WEEK.

So that's 4. Even if you wanna discount the first 2 that footballreference counts as GWDs, he still solidly has 2 in his career.
