Frankly it is the first one I have seen stand up against it, and kill it stone dead... I do not think anyone expected the Eagles to put up another 500 yards game against this defense, but neither did they expect them to be shut down to this extent.

Arizona did not, Green Bay IMO did not, San Francisco faced an Eagles offense (and O-line) that was a complete mess...
The Packers shut down your offense until they emptied their bench at garbage time. Unfortunately the Cowboy's defense was a sieve.

The problem with that gimmick offense is it can work against their own defense. Imagine how tired their defenders must be with minimal rest between possessions.
Teams are learning to stop that gimmick offense.

Really?

The Seahawks and...

The problem isn't the gimmick it's the QB's we got. When you have Dirty Sanchez and Foles as your QB your bound to shit the bed sometimes.

With those two playing QB you should be surprised they are even a top 20 Offense.

People tend to way over analyse these games.

I wouldn't say that offense is being learned.

Those saying that actually watch the SB last year? Aren't many offenses finding any kind of success against Seattle's defense when they are healthy and in sync.

Eagles are on a backup QB and this just wasn't their night. Nothing more.

It still blows me away how good this defense is. Early in the season I complained about the guys we lost to FA and all the injuries exposing our lack of depth. Now, they have given up 20 points total in 3 games. Good timing getting everybody healthy at this point in the season.

Should make for an interesting last 3 divisional games! Or I should say 2... Niners are imploding. Can't wait to see them pummel them next week.

I think Seattle wins at home against the Niner's. Then on the road against the Cards and it will be like today. A defensive slugfest. Its the Rams that may be the toughest. At least we get them at home this time.
