Cool read for Seahawk's fans.

Why the Seahawks Take the Best Vacations — The Ringer

There is a guy bitching about the article in the comments, but I think that it is interesting that PC and the Hawks tell the guys that they basically can do activities that other teams deem too risky (I assume that they emphasize doing them intelligently and safely as possible), and, most importantly, push to have the players do activities together as much as possible. One has to look at the Seahawks success and wonder if this attitude has helped attribute to the winning ways.

Well, I think it does 2 things: 1) strengthens the bond and cohesion amongst teammates and 2) makes Seattle a more attractive place to play. Does not come without some risk, however, which is why many teams have forbidden activities written into contracts (to the extent allowable by the CBA).

I felt that was a good read and one more thing that is just a little different in Seattle vs the rest of the NFL.
We are blessed.

Indeed a good read. Football season is a long haul, so its nice to see these guys get out and have fun. It keeps them mentally fresh and when the time comes, these guys can flip the switch and get ready for work.

Sounds like they have a ton of fun, but got to admit the RW piloting a helicopter makes me nervous. How much training does he have for that?

I imagine he'd have to have as much as anyone else who would want to fly a helicopter.

Russel would make a GREAT pilot. Poise under pressure, prepares well, smart, coordinated.

Hell, he'd probably be one of the best pilots ever.
