I remember a guy (station at Ft. Hood) in the army that got served with a P.I. charge. He had reached his limit of drinking while his friends still wanted to party so he was sleeping in the back seat of a car. What a chicken assed ticket to write up. However, this was Killeen, TX, and they apparently couldn't write up enough infractions to soldiers serving there. I couldn't get out of that state soon enough and I haven't been back in 27 years.

I would agree with that, BUT at least Kaep has experience, been in the playoffs, done well ... So at the very least he's capable, not nearly as Russ's level obviously...

And according to John Clayton, Kaepernick is looking for a contract of between $9-$10M per year. It would be completely ludicrous for our FO to give a backup QB that much money. Really ludicrous for any FO to pay that much for a backup. Of course, backup is not really what he's going for anyway, which makes it a doubly poor fit here.

Right, I was thinking along the lines of Kaep coming here for cheaper... If he doesn't find a home somewhere he's gonna have to consider a cheaper option at some point...

If it's before camp starts, then yeah he's gonna have to bring his price down significantly and take a b/u role. But if he waits a bit longer there's bound to be a QB injury or 2 and then his opportunities may open up a bit.

If true, then that combined with the previous incident ought to get the Hawks thinking about drafting a QB or signing an UDFA if they weren't already thinking about it.

It's in relation to the same incident as last month. Not a new incident.
