Hope he's recovered some of his scrambling ability (or at least learned to get rid of the ball on time); they let 2 OL starters leave in free agency (Mack, Schwartz).

Cant blame them for taking a chance

Ill only blame them if this prevents them from drafting a QB

And hired Hue Jackson, who will an abysmal failure of a HC

Media continues to mention the Rams even though they have 3 QBs already. Keenum has already been named the starter going into camp, Foles will compete for the job, and they have Mannion developing as the third who could be a factor this year as well.

Unless the Rams find a taker for Foles, the Rams aren't going to add a QB via trade, free agency, or maybe even the draft this year. They simply aren't going to carry 4.

Shit! That means they won't let Thomas go now. Maybe they wouldn't have anyway but I was hoping they'd trade Thomas to Seattle. Now they'll need to protect their new QB with the fragile legs so Thomas's value just went up.

You serious?

I was fully expecting this thread to be an April Fools joke but then I saw the date

A Steeler blog had this yesterday and I chatted about it last night...I think it's a good move for CLE, IF it's a 2-3 yr prove it contract and they still make #2 or 32 a QB...if you still go Wentz...if RG3 plays well, you have 2 trade chips next yr.

If he doesn't, you start the rookie at the end of the season or the following year and RG3 is the backup or whatever...chances are, he'll play okay but not terrible and you have the dilemma the 2nd yr...lol

Or they can take a Cook at 32...if DEN gets Lynch...

No doubt he has baggage...Why this makes since for CLE?

1. Hue Jackson has to see enough in him to think he's a worthwhile reclamation project...he knows how to get production from mobile QBs...drafting a QB high behind him will let him know, he's NOT the man, but he has a chance to earn it.

2. A vet with a lot of upside potential to bridge the gap can't be bad...Wentz might be the best QB in this class, but neither of the top guys are as pro ready as Winston and Mariota were LY.

3. He allows them to take Ramsey #2 (probably BPA at that spot), or trade down for picks if LA wanted Wentz. Either way...they should land a solid (Spriggs?) OT at 32...lot more options if they don't lock in on QB @ 2.

Browns taking Tunsil would make a lot of sense.

Whats the over/under on number of Browns games that RG3 wins? My guess is 3

Am I the only one that finds it weird that the Skins just posted a story about their on their own facebook page? Do teams usually do that when a former player of their's signs with another team?

I like Hue actually, but that is a tough job to take.

Meh, the Raiders were just as inept as the Browns when he got that job and for a minute Oakland looked vaguely competent. Hue might have a magic touch for dysfunctional organizations.
