so, all through draft season, the big rumors were Garrapola would cost someone at least a first rounder, now he goes for a second..granted it'll be a damned high second, but the whole "at least a first rounder" was always a pipe dream.
Now, will Garrapolo be the next Matt Cassel?

Not holding my breath. I have no doubt he can run the Pats offense with the talent they have. But to expect an upgrade on the Niners.... well.... He has to prove it.

2016, 3rd preseason game, Cheifs vs Bears; Connor Shaw is picking apart the Cheifs D, moving the ball at will. Then breaks his leg. Hoyer comes in in relief and throws not just 3 incompletions but 3 deliberate incompletions to the sideline.
Was not a good sign.
