I like Machado, a lot. So I'm biased. But I wouldn't do it.

Sano can hit in the minors, but who knows how long before he can in the majors. Or even when he gets the chance. He's also just 14 months younger than BMores 4th year All-Star third sacker.

nay... with Sano counting as one of the 9 keepers, I don't think I would take any downgrade to include him... you have no idea how long it will take a rookie to become fantasy relevant...

i love me some Polanco. Got to see him at triple A. However, Machado is turning into a much better hitter. So I'd keep him.

Steve Phillips talking up a Schwarber for Hamels trade. It actually makes some sense for both teams, but can you imagine how poor Schwarber would feel going from the Cubs to the Phillies?

I have a conundrum. A bit of a pitching logjam on my team.

We are allowed 6 SP's in my league and I have:

Jon Lester
Taijuan Walker
Anibal Sanchez
Danny Salazar
Scott Kazmir
Mike Montgomery (picked up for last night and he dominated-again)


I have Matt Moore coming off the DL tomorrow and I am having a hard time parting with any of these guys to make room.

Thoughts?

I was thinking of going that route too. I like Moore but you can never know how a guy will be coming off Taco John surgery. And from what I've read about his rehab starts, he hasn't exactly been lighting it up and it also sounds like they will be "monitoring and limiting" his pitch counts.
