Firing McDaniels was a no brainer. Not sure about Ziegler. I guess it makes sense because he made moves based on what McDaniels wanted.

Firing McDaniels was a no brainer. Not sure about Ziegler. I guess it makes sense because he made moves based on what McDaniels wanted.

He as a GM signed off on Garappalo over Carr.

Any GM not willing to pound the table and demand that that not happen deserves to be fired.

What is even worse is that he guaranteed Jimmy $45M. For a QB that anyone paying attention knows sucks and has no business starting in this league.

Hard to say a GM should be canned over one move. But if there was ever a move that deserves it, that would pretty much be it.

Totally agree and fwiw, it looks like JimmyG is done as their QB now as well which makes that move even worse. Speaking of JimmyG, his days as a starting QB in this league have to be at or near the end, one would think. He just plain is not a good QB.
