they are starting to look like the devils #6 seed last year. knock off a tough south east champ. then you play the #4 team (philly was #5) but still playing a team that came off an emotional rivalry series in boston. hopefully they have something left in the tank.

I had a feeling they would win game 7, but not with a 5-0 shutout.
They scored 5, but it still comes down to Henrik.
He makes those big saves which deflate the Caps. Rangers take the puck the other way, and end up scoring.

Boston's win was nuts. Way worse than what we went through with Carolina. Being a Leaf fan must be horrible. Funny because Boston was minutes away from coughing up a 3-1 series advantage, and Toronto ended up choking away game 7.

Know what's funny with Boston. Remove the cup win and julien has coughed up a 3-1 and a 3-0 lead. And a 1st round upset by the caps last year

Did anybody else notice Chara standing directly in front of the goalie with the extra attacker out to tie the game? I have been saying for years the Devils should do this on the PP. The Flyers killed us a few years back by doing that with Pronger. There was no reason guys like Bernier, Zubrus and Poni shouldn't have been parked right in the crease.

Im rooting for a Bruins/Pens series..that will be some great hockey. Either team will give the B'Hawks a more then solid Final.

I think the Bruins actually have some pull with the league, I doubt they get the same treatment Washington does.

If Lundy plays like he did in round 1, he could carry that team to the Cup finals. He was awesome the past 3 games.

Still think nobody beats Pitt though, PP is incredible and they roll 4 lines better than anybody else

To me, the West has the better group of teams left. Chicago and LA are very good. Only team in the East that can win it all is Pittsburgh.

one can dream of a ottawa san jose cup wouldnt mind seeing one of them win it.

a guy i use to work with had a theory that the nhl likes to spread the cup around and give it to markets that havent won it. hence why the kings got the cup last year. going by that theory sens/sharks lol lets only hope

3-11 now for queen in playoff overtime. close to martys bad overtime record. guess its the game styles the two teams play

They also have D that can rip it. I'm hoping the let Larsson start shooting and maybe Urbom or Merrill know how to get a puck on net.

Shocked (well not really) that the game was that close. Bruins I thought outplayed them the overwhelming majority of the game. Like I said, the Bruins D can absolutely kill the puck, so I hope the Rangers realize they are setting themselves up for disaster with their gameplan. Remember when Chara broke Clarkson's ankle? Yeah that might happen to every other player on the Rangers by the time this series is over.

Not just this season. Never forget few years ago when the caps were hitting like 10 posts or crossbars per game in that 7 game series.

I would pay "pay per view" type of money to watch Oates beat the crap out of Torts. Whiney baby. Then we can watch him cry in the post fight interview like he does after every loss.
