Lebron hasn't played in his twilight years yet. When his numbers drop dramatically. Once he retires, then we can compare stats.

The stats @Wamu posted were through 14 seasons. They didn't include Kobe's twilight years either.

You've been waiting for a couple of years for LeBron's #'s to drop. Even when he's in the twilight of his career he'll still have better #'s than Yer Boy. And like I just said to truelakersfan I can't stand either of them. But I can put my personal opinion aside for both when discussing their careers.

They will drop. Father time is still undefeated.

Additionally, MJs 3pt FG% was lower than both Kobe's and Lebrons.

Just sayin.

Who has ever said Father Time isn't undefeated though? Again like I already said you've been yapping about LeBron's skills diminishing for a couple years now. Keep saying it though, sooner or later that will happen. No athlete's ever beaten Father Time.

Really?

You can't just look at 1 stat. Yes. MJ was a better scorer. LeBron is better statistically in many other areas and he scores more efficiently than MJ did (both were highly efficient scorers).

Rings are team achievements. LeBron is unlikely to win another because to do so he would have to beat the Warriors who are the vastly superior team. Jordan never had to face anyone even in the ballpark of being as good as the Warriors. The Bulls were the dominant force in the NBA from the 90s, and it was about more than just MJ. They had great complimentary pieces too. The Warriors are the dominant force today.

If ring count is all that matters, are the same people going to say KD and Curry are in the GOAT conversation if they run off 5 or 6? I hope not, because LeBron is clearly the superior individual player.

LeBron has not passed MJ, but it could be a legit debate in a few years. It is closer now than most would care to admit.
I look at all of the stats - incuding trips to the finals, championships, Gold Medals, other awards and etc. The career average stats in the regular seasons is not by any means the entire picture and when you look at the entire picture - I do not believe LeBron has passed Michael Jordan. Not even close. LeBron, however has not finished his career though and does have a good chance to do that though keeping in mind that LeBron will not have completed what Michael accomplished by the time he reaches the age Michael was when Michael retired. Had Michael played those to years when he went off into the baseball and past the Phil Jackson area - I think we all know that he would have 8 rings and be untouchable. But the rings are part of the stats

Same applies to Kobe...

This is true.

LeBron's and Kobe's 3 point percentage should be better than MJ's.

Larry Bird was only a 37.6% 3 point shooter and he was one of the best shooters ever. They didn't practice 3s the way they do today.

That being said, it is still a bit surprising LeBron's is higher than Kobe's since the outside shot was always supppsed to be LeBron's weakness.

I thought LeBron's only weakness was his fading hairline?

None of those things mentioned in the first sentence are stats. They are team accomplishments. That is not what Pippen was talking about nor what this thread is about.

The fact you called him LeBoner in your comment shows just how overly biased you really are. I don't like either player but the difference is I'm not letting my personal opinion of either get in the way of what the #'s say.
Well of course I am biased - Kobe Bryant brought the Lakers 5 more championships - LeBron only brought two to Miami and had to leave to get another and will have to jump teams to get more. Kobe Could have more two by selling out the Laker's - In fact I wished he had sold out and left about the time he was injured - He would most likely got another title and the Lakers would have started rebuilding sooner

That's doesn't stop me from giving an objective opinion and even with his twilight years - Kobe had a career average 24 points in comparison to LeBron's 27 and Michael's 30 - and that was with the ball being dumped into Kobe's hands for the final shots repeatedly. 30 ppg for Michael, however to LeBron's 27 means that Michael has the better stat - not the other way around as you stated. Stat for stat - some of LeBron's in rebounds and assists are a little better, but add them together and minutes - I will take Michael in his prime vs LeBron any Michael opposed to LeBron with each in their prime - there is no doubt that LeBron would get his ass kicked

six champions in the finals is a stat
just like 5 for Kobe is a stat
and 3 for LeBron is a stat.

The op never has talked about what the thread was about though - He based it on his retarded claim that LeBron has passed Michael Jordan and then never listed a Michael stat - in fact Michael still has a better stat in points per game then your LeBron -

I stopped reading after you said well of course I am biased. That's all you needed to say in the 1st place. I don't see how you can even try to argue the #'s I originally posted when they were LeBron's first 14 years & Kobe's first 14 years. Continue though, it's entertaining.

Is this where you give the bullshit that you're not biased?

Yeah, I actually agree that from an overall statistical perspective, LeBron has passed Jordan. (KAJ is the stat goat and still ahead of LeBron in that department though).

MJ is the goat though, and ahead of LeBron in terms of all-time lists.
He has passed Jordan statistically.

But, Jordan Fangirls like myself will be quick to point out that he's played longer too.
