Yes, Illinois sent 6 coaches onto PSU's campus yesterday out of the goodness of their hearts and only to benefit the players. PSU's players are still going to get to play on TV and impress NFL scouts. Obviously it's allowable and there's no way to get around it but that doesn't mean I have to like it. And if players from PSU reach out to VT I'd be okay with it but it would feel distasteful if it were the other way around.

Im with you on this one Rocco. Was just thinking how I would feel if this was in reverse.

Any player that remains at PSU becomes instant hero, celebrity, legend, and rally point.

All class and character, a trait NFL teams like as much as stats.

Redd could stay behind and get a statue. If he jumps to USC, he becomes the devil. The NFL can still find him, and he could be home at Thanksgiving, pigging out and watching football.
