Adam Kaufman CBS Boston is reporting the following.................

Pacers and Celtics have agreed to a deal in principal. Boston will send draft pick(s) and player(s) to Indianapolis for Paul George. George has agreed to a 3 year Max Extension with the Celtics. 3 Hours after announcing this, photographs were taken of a moving truck in front of Paul George's massive home.

There is a caveat.......................Before this deal is finalized, the Celtics have to sign free agent Gordon Heyward.

As Kaufman states..........................Lotsa Dominos.

Moving truck in front of Paul George’s Geist home generates buzz amid trade speculation

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – There are no new developments on the future of Paul George, but a photo taken on NBA Draft Day is certainly generating a lot of buzz amid trade speculation.

Katie Wynn took a photo of what appears to be a moving truck in front of George’s home on Geist Reservoir Thursday afternoon.

The address of this home is the same address where George reported a burglary in April 2014.

We realize, of course, the truck could be there for any number of reasons, but it is certainly adding fuel to the fire as rumors about George continue to circulate.

George reportedly told the Pacers over the weekend he intends to opt out of his contract after next season, become a free agent in 2018, and leave the franchise, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

He just wrapped up the third year of a five-year contract with the franchise, with the fifth year being a player option. If he opts out, the Pacers would be able to offer him a five-year $177 million extension while any other NBA team could only offer four years at $130 million.

The Pacers franchise is trying to get something in return for their star player in a trade, according to multiple reports. They were reportedly in talks with the Lakers earlier this week, which is where George wants to end up, but nothing has come of that yet.

Not much meat to this bone.

Seems more like someone trying to generate buzz for their radio program.

That picture was taken over a week ago. Go back to the offseason thread and you'll see it long before the draft

That's a nice house. George would be a good fit for Boston. Be interesting to see if it happens.

So apparently the Celtics could have nabbed Butler for the #3 pick straight up and said no thanks.

So would you Celtics fans rather have Jayson Tatum or Jimmy Butler right now?

If this all were true, then the picture actually contradicts the story.

If the George deal were contingent on Hayward signing in Boston, why would moving trucks have been at PG13's house 2 days ago? The earliest the Celtics could sign Hayward is July 1st. Since it won't be an easy call for him, it likely won't happen on the first couple days.

Moving trucks would imply George had an idea where he is going. Things in Boston are certainly not solidified enough for him to be heading there already.

My guess is that a deal was imminent on Thursday (not to Boston), but then it fell through.

This stuff seems fake.

However, legit source Zach Lowe has indicated in podcasts over the last couple of weeks that George likes the idea of playing with Hayward and would be open to the Celtics if he were to go there. If he's reporting it, you know its legit. So that's probably where the OP rumors stemmed from. People taking Lowe's tidbits and running with it. For the record, Lowe never reported on a deal. Just that George liked Hayward and that Boston likely didn't pursue Butler that hard because they intended to go after Hayward and George (getting Butler makes it harder cap wise to get Hayward).

Probably as much truth to that as there is to the Paul George rumor.

I think the C's have plans on Gordon Hayward... which helps make sense of the above. Hayward is probably a better fit in the team offense that the Celtics run.

Only time will tell.
