I'm glad we still have a shot at making the postseason going into week 17... 20 NFL teams fan bases will not have their team represented in the postseason - I don't want to be one of those fans... Best part of being a diehard NFL fan is getting the opportunity to watch your team advance in the postseason... (6) Wild Card teams have won the Superbowl... (2) of those teams were 10-6 going into the postseason ('07 Giants / '10 Packers) so it's never over... Anything can happen in the postseason... Yeah, we laid an egg against the Rams but we beat the Eagles and Cowboys so anything is possible... There isn't one team in the NFL that I don't think the Hawks can't beat...

We all know the playoff scenario for the Seahawks... The Panthers MUST beat the Falcons this weekend with the Hawks doing their share at taking care of the Cardinals... Panthers and Hawks both play at 1:25pm, which I love how the NFL changes times to ensure that the meaningful games are all played at the same time... The awesome thing is that the Panthers still have something to play for - their division... Panthers took care of the Falcons 20-17 when they played earlier this season and that was without Greg Olsen, who is back in the fold for this game... It's going to be very tough road game for them but I hope they can make it one more win...

GO PANTHERS! I want to root for my team in the postseason!!!

I will always root for my team. Even if I don't expect much from them in the playoffs.

Really, when you look back over this year, it is amazing the team is still in it. Odds are against us here on out, but this weeks home game has meaning, big meaning.

Seahawks have shown a never say die attitude despite the odds. Beating the Cowboys at their place was really unexpected. If they make the playoffs who knows maybe they pull off the improbable.

Not unless the OL gets a whole lot better quick.

Agreed... We beat the Eagles with a bad OL and they had a healthy Wentz... We went to Dallas and beat the Cowboys with a bad OL... Anything can happen...

So true, which is why I can't blame Sherman for saying what he did regards to the fans giving up on the team... It is a miracle that we're even discussing a postseason opportunity with how many injuries we've had to endure this season... Yes, it will be tough to get to the Superbowl if we made the postseason but at least we'd have a hint of hope with our team being in the postseason... You can't have hope to go to the SB if you don't make the postseason...

One thing we need to have happen is Russell needs to play better... Even Carroll called him out today in his press conference... He said Russell hasn't played very well the past two weeks... He mentioned that he's left a lot of yards out there by not making the best of decisions at times... Nice to see Carroll finally calling him out...

At least we'll know by kickoff if Seattle has a chance or not.

Oh, I didn't realize they switched times. Good, I think that helps Panthers a bit more.

Yeah, I think the games we are interested in all kick off at the same time. It will be awesome and I look forward to freezing my bunkins off vs Az.

I saw yesterday LAR's coach says he plans to rest some starters in week 17. Sort of odd because they still have a chance at the 3 seed.

The Panthers should be all in vs Atlanta. CAR has already secured a spot, but if they win then they have a shot at the division title.

Hawks spot is interesting with Philly clinching the 1 seed. Where we play in WC weekend depends on what happens with the Rams and all those NFCS south teams, but if we win that game then we would be at Philly in the divisional round no matter what else happens around us in the playoffs. I don't stay up at night worrying about Nick Foles.

I didn't make it to a game this year but I usually travel over from Spokane to hit a game or two...
