yup, Stanford could have scored a lot more than they did.
True.
And so could Oregon have.
They lost a fumble inside the 5, missed a wide open td, and failed a 4th down conversion inside the 5.
Just couldn't get it done.

You missed his point - their winning resume is better than anyone - that loss will probably keep them out - but their winning resume is the best. That was his point
That's a good thing since they play day after tomorrow?
Stanfords defense is just so tough to score.on
They make you work your way down the field
Then force turnovers, or make you want to go for it on.4th down.where.they stop you
You are correct, this game was more about Stanford kicking Oregon's ass than it was Oregon imploding. Stanford's o-line pummeled the hell out of Oregon's front 7 and kept Oregon's O on the sidelines. It's hard to get in sync on O when you sit on the sidelines for 20 minutes while the other team has the ball. Then turning the ball back over to that O after about 5 minutes makes it really tough on the D. Stanford dominated this game except the last 4 minutes, by then it was too late. I believe all the credit goes to Stanford's team, their offense, defense and special teams did a great job until about 4 minutes left, but they pulled it together in the end to earn a W.
One sad thing is the score doesn't show how much of a beating this game was, and the idiot voters that didn't watch and read a box score....just sad
it was a poorly coached game. Started back when we didn't take the FG on that early drive.
Washington is miles and mile and mile and miles and miles and mile away from any type of championship game. What does it say when a team has lost ten in a row to another and they post this:
Nothing but Jelly
Its after midnight, technically its friday on the East Coast.
Do the Ducks now end up in the Rose bowl..?

Games being played in Tuscaloosa (central time zone) but thanks for the back up fellow Bama friend!
Not a lock for that either at this point.
