Yes, oregon has better overall athletes, but stanford is the better whole team and has the better coaching right now.

Let's face it. Stanford needed every turnover, every bounce that went their way, every call that went their way, and every bit their team had to hold on and win that thing. Oregon is a quality and dangerous team. The difference here was just outstanding coaching and clock management. Shaw is just insane at game planning that team for whatever reason.

Just need to be disciplined against all the looks Oregon gives

Its how they've stopped them

Lsu stopped them and Auburn stopped them

The way Stanford plays makes it really easy to make it a close game against.them

Beating.them is a mystery that somehow only Utah has figured out

Didn't they say that 15 of 22 active D players for Stanford were seniors? They're gonna lose a great deal of talent as well.

Yahh. But they recruit so well. They've had monster recruiting classes for years, especially top quality beef on those lines. They are still losing a bunch of talent on D, but they got a lot of young maulers waiting in the wings. Stanford is rolling right now and will be in the top tier of the PAC for years to come.

Oregon has no chance at a NCG bid. They won't even make the PAC12 champ game now, unless Stanford collapses from here on out, and that's not likely.

Wouldn't want to see Bama face Baylor. Of course, don't really want to see them face FSU either.


Really felt that Bama matched up best with Oregon. No easy NC for Bama this year, if they win out.
