Opening Day 2014 Reds VS Cardinals

WOW!! It's almost finally time for things to mean something and to start another season of Reds baseball. This team has taken a lot of hate, But I am very excited for the upcoming season. I think we have a great club, and as long as we can stay healthy we got just as good as club, if not better then last year. But with 12 days from Opening Day (March 31st) I found this link ill post, about how Fox Sports Ohio will have 10 hours of Opening Day coverage. ESPN will also have Opening Day coverage with the baseball tonight crew outside the stadium. The 1st pitch will be by Barry Larkin and Dave Consepsion. Cant even tell you guys how excited I am. Hopefully this year we can stop the drought and watch our team bring the World Champion trophy back to the queen city. Fox Sports Ohio plans 10 hours of Opening Day coverage

Nothing quite like the opener if you're a Reds fan. I'll be there, God willing. Hoping for spring weather, less rain of course. I've been there in snow flurries...not so pleasant.

1507 you lucky ass, Man I would just about give anything to be able to make it up there to Opening Day. Have a good time man. I'll be watching. I went to Opening Night last year, But never have been able to go to Opening Day.

I am a lucky ass.

My son is 24 and he and I have went to every opening day but one, since he was 4 years old.

Opening day is special, if you're a fan, even if you're not at the park.

A lot of people go to opening day for all the wrong reasons, and may not go, or even watch the Reds, any other time. Many people that would love to go, for all the right reasons, can't. Thats a shame, IMO. I always tried hard to go for a few reasons, most of which wouldn't make sense to others even if I embarrassed myself enough to tell them. It's also something my son will remember long after I'm gone, I hope. We always share a good day that day, rain or shine, win or lose.

I've been lucky to have been able to do that.

That's awesome 1507,You sound like a really cool dad. I have never had away up to Opening Day, and even when my Dad was in my life he was always to busy to take me to Opening Day. But what you just said is what's all about. A good day at the ball park watching the game and the team you love with your son. That's awesome.

I had surgery done or I would have said something earlier,but if you don't know already Johnny Cueto has officially been named the 2014 Opening Day starter. Tony Cingrani for game 2,and game 3 will be Homer Bailey.

I had surgery done or I would have said something earlier,but if you don't know already Johnny Cueto has officially been named the 2014 Opening Day starter. Tony Cingrani for game 2,and game 3 will be Homer Bailey.

I drafted Cueto in a league, but am torn to start him week one. Upside is he has 2 starts, down side if he pitches well on Monday, STL could lose and if STL wins, Cueto's stats might not be good.

Here's hoping for 6 strong innings from Cueto, then STL hammers your pen.
