Redwings made two trades
Sheahan to the Pens for Scott Wilson and a pick
And an AHL swap Sproul for Puempel.

That Pens trade was in the works for a while. Wilson was a fan favorite but really no room for him. Glad he will play in Detroit. Sheahan is a huge upgrade over McKegg and Rowney.

Really underrated (and actually heavily criticized) on another board I frequent. Nothing flashy, not the fastest skater, but has a great pair of mittens.
