I love how the media and others portray these athletes as "starving" and that they need to get paid.

So what if they face an athletic QB with a better RB and better offense than Kansas St (not saying much). And a defense that is better than KSU's (not saying much) and they play just a good game. They lose.

This game proves everything to me. I don't think oklahoma is that strong of a team, but if they kill them or their defense plays well it really sends a statement, all games in past mean nothing to me. Impressive, but doesn't tell me anything.

Unless it's in a bowl game there isn't a better QB/RB rushing combo in the Big 12 than Daniel Sams and John Hubert for Baylor to face. They both are on pace for around 1000 yds rushing. Their defense isn't all that bad either considering they are ranked #30 in the nation. Their early season struggles were because of turnovers and penalties. This is the most undisciplined Kansas St team I can remember watching in a long time. Still wouldn't surprise me if they finish 7-5 or 8-4.

OU did everything they could to give the game away in the first half. I'm sorry, but if you've got 4th and half a yard to go for a TD, WTF are you doing snapping it backwards 5 yards? OU coaches are overthinking everything offensively, and would do well to just run under center with a fullback. Spread it out when necessary. Don't try to be a team you're not.

Just took the Bears -14. I thought about teasing it up to -17 but decided against it. Fully expect the Sooners to fold like a towell by the middle of 3rd quarter.
