Lynch should have just gave himself up instead of scoring the TD after he got past the markers, I know guys are not programmed that way but had he done that it would have wound down to the two minute warning then we would have taken victory formation. That would have been much much less stressful.

It looked like he almost gave up but ended up running in. A down there and we run out the clock.

I thought about that as well. If he goes down in bounds anywhere on the field its the 2 minute warning with a 1st down. Saints are out of timeouts and 3 kneel downs end the game.

Yeah I've never seen a team lose from victory formation, I'm sure it's happened at times maybe not in the NFL but I'd say we are basically 100% to win in that situation, where the Saints getting the ball down 15 is not at all likely for them to come back and win but still a very small chance maybe less than 2%.

Would have preferred to just end it, reminds me of the Niners loss when we probably should have let them score instead of trying to hold them to give us a chance to win.It seems we are not great at clock management I hope it gets brought up and they are aware of that type of situation going forward.

PC needed to be kicked in the nuts when he didn't call time-out before that 4th down TD. It was obvious to 70,000 people in that stadium that the defense was lost before that snap, but apparently there was one who didn't see it....
