He will make more as a P5 assistant. He was at 800K with us and I'm guessing he will get a bump going to Ohio State.

He interviewed for one of the MAC HC jobs, but from the sound of things he would have taken a pay cut from his salary with us.
I think the article I linked said he was rumored to have been offered $1 mill at Tennessee, so I'm guessing he's getting at least that here.

But at the very least he's proven to develop QBs (at least I'm inferring he was involved) as opposed to Beck.

Dude's damn Rainman when it comes to QBs, doesn't translate to being OC.

I will say this, the guy was at the forefront of RPOs and is a genius there. The only problem is he will pick a lesser QB that understands his system over a stud who is still learning

Beck managed to take a national championship offense with two future pro bowlers at RB and wr and make it pedestrian for half a season.

Obviously Rudolph is the big success story but who did he overlook?

He wasn't around long enough to overlook anyone.

An OC from OState lasting longer than 4 years is almost unheard of.

I'd say putting Corndog in over Dru Brown was a huge mistake this season but who knows, we certainly don't. Didn't see Dru or Spencer Sanders play a down outside of Dru coming in this bowl game for a handoff when Corndogs helmet came off.

ya........Im not enthused but from what I'm reading he's gonna be a QB coach(not an OC or co-OC).
He will be out QBs coach. Kevin Wilson is staying and will be out OC from what I read on 11w.

If you guys stole him on a Downgrade in position then you must be paying him 1million a season because he was in the upper 800's with us as OC.

If that's the case, no wonder there's such a disparity between bigger and smaller programs lol.

Yeah. I just read the article again on Bucknuts247 mentioning he will be co-offensive coordinator/QB coach. Not sure what he will make, but my gut feeling is that Kevin Wilson will leave after the 2019 season for a HC job somewhere, which leads me to believe Yurcich will be promoted as the head OC. Then again, what the hell do I know.

If that's true, I really do feel sorry for you guys and wish you luck. Dude was not very well liked in Stillwater, imagine his reception in Columbus if he pulls the same shit?

Or maybe the guy just wanted to get the hell out of Stillwater as fast as he could.

One would think he will be calling what Coach Day wishes. Day stated after his hire he intends to be part of the play calling.
