Thoughts so far

1) Whitehurst is looking exactly as he did in Seattle.
2) Schofield has been getting pressure, a couple of times already.
3) Bradford is looking decent for a converted RB.

Christine Michael has looked fairly solid in his first few carries. Wilson is scrambling a lot, and I assume it's because there is nobody getting separation downfield.

Our second string LBs are looking good against their #2s. Powell, Bradford and Lotulelei have all made nice plays this drive.

hopefully this is the early season over calling of plays just to get it into players heads. Refs do it every year, and hopefully this isn't really an indication on how they'll call games this season.

Agreed. They look real good. Lotulelei is everywhere. Great instincts. Nice defensive stop by Seahawks on that last series.

This secondary is just sick. PC's the best evaluator of secondary talent in the league. Pass rush is looking better as well. Hopefully the first couple of o-possessions was just a rust/missing starters thing.

It's pretty much a guaranteed loss if he's the guy that they're forced to start. That INT he just threw would have been an easy completion by any half-decent starter. Maybe the signed him to make sure Rivers feels absolutely no pressure about losing his job.

Would have liked to see the ones do a bit more on the offensive side, didn't look like the receivers were getting much separation...I'm going to stress getting into third and shorts situations...it's key for this or any offense if we want to be successful .

The D did okay for the first game but we've got to get off the field on third down this season.
