Titans agreed to terms with CB Malcolm Butler, formerly of the Patriots, on a five-year, $61 million contract.

The deal includes a whopping $30 million guaranteed. Connected to ex-Patriots in both Houston and Detroit, Butler instead ends up with ex-Pats Mike Vrabel and Jon Robinson in Tennessee. It's the second straight year Robinson has signed away a corner from his former employer. Logan Ryan arrived via a three-year, $30 million deal last March. Butler seemed in and out of favor with Bill Belichick following his Super Bowl 49 heroics but was an every-down player until his stunning Super Bowl 52 benching. Although perhaps not truly elite, Butler is a legitimate No. 1 corner. He's a strong get for the Titans.

No way we were paying him that much. Nevin Lawson was signed as soon as this deal was final so at least we are no worse than last year. He is our weakest link as the rest of the secondary is very strong. Would not surprise me to see Tavon Wilson play some LB.

If you want a positive spin, the less big money guys we bring in the better chance we can bring Suh back.

Depending on how Kennards contract is structured it could be anywhere from 22 to 27 million in cap after the Ebron release. 5.5 is slotted for our draft picks that is not yet accounted for
