Lions Signed Devon Kennard. I think 6 million a year is high for him, I would have liked the first signing announced to be a DT. Richardson would be the ideal, I still like the idea of Wilkerson

Another Linebacker with Christian Jones. No salary yet, I don't see that we are improving the linebackers here. Just changing them

Lions signed LB Devon Kennard, formerly of the Giants, to a three-year, $18.75 million contract.

With Tahir Whitehead and Paul Worrilow free agents, the Lions needed help at linebacker. Kennard is not going to solve all of their problems, but he is a solid option who should be able to hold down a starting spot next to 2017 first-round MLB Jarrad Davis.

Lions signed ILB Christian Jones, formerly of the Bears, to a two-year, $7.75 million contract.

The deal comes with a $2.8 million signing bonus. Jones drew 11 starts last year while earning PFF's No. 45 inside linebacker grade out of 52 qualifiers. The Lions have worked quickly to replace free agents Tahir Whitehead and Paul Worrilow, signing Jones and ex-Giant Devon Kennard in a matter of hours.

Lions will get CB Malcolm Butler...?

Texans signed CB Aaron Colvin, formerly of the Jaguars, to a four-year contract.

Colvin played an important role as Jacksonville's slot corner last year, earning a positive grade from ProFootballFocus over 700 defensive snaps. It's a needed addition for the Texans, who were manhandled in the secondary last year. It's unclear if this ends Houston's pursuit of Malcolm Butler, who is also drawing interest from the Matt Patricia-coached Lions.

We have replaced depth players that were forced to be starters the last couple years at LB. We will most likely make bigger splashes at the position along with drafting 1 or 2. I see us grabbing Butler and suring up the secondary regardless of what Lawson does. We will most likely draft 2 DLs and 2 LBs, 1RB, and 1 G/C. If we trade Ebron then we grab another TE as well.

My complaint is we replaced those depth players with other depth players, not better players. And we paid one of them 6 million a year.

Packers are releasing Jordy Nelson? I don't think we should sign him, but I am happy to see him leave the Packers

Titans agreed to terms with CB Malcolm Butler, formerly of the Patriots, on a five-year, $61 million contract.

The deal includes a whopping $30 million guaranteed. Connected to ex-Patriots in both Houston and Detroit, Butler instead ends up with ex-Pats Mike Vrabel and Jon Robinson in Tennessee. It's the second straight year Robinson has signed away a corner from his former employer. Logan Ryan arrived via a three-year, $30 million deal last March. Butler seemed in and out of favor with Bill Belichick following his Super Bowl 49 heroics but was an every-down player until his stunning Super Bowl 52 benching. Although perhaps not truly elite, Butler is a legitimate No. 1 corner. He's a strong get for the Titans.

Wilkerson is a dlineman! And versatile enough to be a DT in a 4-3 and DE in a 3-4.
I know.

Loved him coming out of Temple. They were a member of tMAC, along with my Broncos when Big Mo was in school.
