Yes. I figured they were going to accept a bid to the "San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl" though. They'd play either Boise St or Fresno St, instead of playing Houston.

When they started that bowl a few years ago, I told myself I hope Nebraska never falls that far.

Yeah, it isn't warm...but you get to go to NYC. That doesn't suck.

Well that sucks. That's one of the reasons we got that tie-in was so that West Virginia wouldn't have to travel that far for their bowl game...

They probably did it for Rutgers/Maryland.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Nebraska in that fucker though.

It's because of conference tie-ins. You guys used to get Gator Bowls en sech with 8 wins.

The Big 10 and SEC locked that up.
