I would take the Pinstripe.

Yeah, it isn't warm...but you get to go to NYC. That doesn't suck.

I wish they would put ND vs Miami in the Russell Athletic Bowl

the most recent bowl projections for ND were:

Pinstripe
Houston vs. Notre Dame
Houston vs. Notre Dame
Houston vs. Notre Dame
Houston vs. Notre Dame
Rutgers vs. Notre Dame
Rutgers vs. Notre Dame
Cincinnati vs. Notre Dame

Little Caesars (Detroit)
Notre Dame vs. Ball State

Texas Bowl (Houston, TX)
Minnesota vs Notre Dame

and Sports Illustrated wrote:
Notre Dame's most likely destination remains
the Pinstripe Bowl, but the Fighting Irish may no
longer be facing slumping Rutgers. Instead, 8-4
Houston could be their opponent. However, coach
Brian Kelly's program is actively pursuing other
warmer-weather alternatives. The problem is, few
options provide a quality opponent.

one of the worst bowls. I have an idea - let's make a bowl game in late December in New York.....outside.

NYC isn't that cold as some people seem to think it is. This week it was in the 40's once. We had 3 days in the 50's and yesterday was over 60. People talk about NYC like it is Minnesota or something

Including me

Who would you like to see ND play?

Interesting ND beat Ariz St and Mich St, who are both playing in their conference championship games

The acc-b10 tie in for next year will just be a notre dame-syracuse-pitt-bc rotation against psu-maryland-rutgers-psu

nebraska fans have nothing to worry about

personally i like this bowl because its being run by people who actually care about college football and are actively trying to improve their bowl rather than milk it for every sponsorship deal possible. They dont pull the 13,500+ ticket allotment BS that milks schools for money like the other bowls. Instead they determine allotment based on a schools fanbase size & travel distance. KSU, wvu & isu all managed to sell their allotments.

It has a pretty low cost of attendance and an above average payout making it one of the more profitable non BCS bowls.

I'd take the Fruitstripe Bowl..."yipes" and all!

Of course, the free tattoos inside make it more appropriate for Ohio State.
