CBS....no 1p game this week?

Okay...trying to sort this out.

The Falcons are on the road but they don't want to put a 1p game up against the FOX 1p game (ATL @ HOU). Maybe there's a league mandate, but CBS is leaving a top 10 TV market totally to FOX for the 1p time slot when the Falcons are not at home.

Wow they finally figured out how to have the London game start at 1PM Eastern. Didn't that used to be at some crazy time or am I thinking of something else?

Yeah, I'm trying to remember which games were on at like 7 AM Eastern last year. Have they played in other countries besides England?

They were 2p (local) starts coming on at 9A in the east I think.

IMO, a 1p start the game gets lost.

My guess...BUF @ TN on CBS is not sold out....so, the Nashville viewing area will not get the game live....I assume NFL rules won't allow FOX to show in that market either during that time slot.

But the blackout policy was rescinded in 2015 and is now subject to a yearly vote.

And that policy was an NFL and FCC agreement. That says this blackout is enforced by the local team.

Maybe its just the way it was worded but it sounds confusing.

I guess NFL figures North Dakota loves them some Carson Wentz because it looks like outside of that NY/NJ/PHI area they are the only ones being subjected to that Eagles - Jets game

There are many weeks where I sit scratching my head wondering how they come up with the coverage maps.

There's a lot of really shitty looking games on the schedule. The only ones on CBS that look mildly entertaining to me are Ravens/Steelers and maybe Jags/Panthers.
Falcons/Texans and Bucs/Saints on Fox but not a one of those games is on out west.
I'm glad I have to work. The only thing one can hope for is some upset from one of the bottom feeders. Never gonna happen but Skins over Pats would be epic.

I've been finding myself a little less interested each year that goes by, and it has a lot to do with the lack of good teams throughout the NFL.
