Just rubbing in a sweet vitory! My buddy was dancing around the room when it was 17-0. I wasn't even worried. :)

GO NINER!!!! WOOOHOO!!!

It's been 18 years! Too long.

I was in the same state of mind. I was frustrated, but not worried!!

I didn't get worried until crab's fumble, I was worried momentum would be hard to get back at that point, but these guys stayed fighting like a champ should.

Just heard Mark Ibanez mention that Akers may not make the trip to New Orleans.

If so, good riddance. :yahoo:

The part that concerned me the most was two turnovers and zero points from that. Then Crabbie's fumble.

My gut was telling me ATL would score with like 1.5 to 2 minutes and we'd have to drive to win.

Glad it turned out the way it did.

From their experience last week, it looked as if they were going short for the first down there, then probably going with a running play to make us use a timeout, before trying to punch it in. Hard to say but it could have been less than 1:30 remaining on the clock.

I'm saying before the drive actually occurred. I thought it would play out where they'd score with that much time left. My hunch of what was going to happen.

Holy fuck boys and girls...had to sign off at the end of the game to drink beer. Great game. Now, retribution for the Thanksgiving drubbing from 2 years ago.

Man, I haven't been so nervous for a game since I was a kid.

Haven't had a chance to read the entire thread, but how the fuck was that a catch? Does the NFL even know how to interpret a catch anymore? And I gotta love Harbaugh's passion. Haters gonna call it a tantrum, but that's exactly what I want from a coach.

earlier i was in the 'no question' camp, replace Akers.

but they took action with the two week 'try out', and Akers won out. so based on the best information going into this game, not complaing about his miss today.

so now that we've seen him miss, it is a new situation to evaluate? he has lost it mentally on field goals, so we can't go into the SB knowing this. anyone else can miss in the SB too, but knowing what we know today, the odds favor a new kicker.

This game was it for me, deep.

I'm done with the guy. They might not make a move but if they feel like going on fourth every time they get pass the 35 yd line, I'd have no problems with it.
