Game Thread: Nebraska vs. Miami -- Game 4

The 1994 team did the Tunnel-Walk first. Then they re-did the Tunnel-Walk for the current team.

In a sense the stadium did the Tunnel-Walk twice.

And they used the animation from 95. I thought it was a cool touch.

I remember at one point later in the game asking the fella next to me "Has there even been a punt yet?".

He replied "I think there's been one".

99% of the game was respectful. Both teams took part in the major fracas. Other than that it was a fucking football game. Saying that Miami is a dirty team is preposterous.

As far as going after Randy's knee. They chop blocked him 6 times. 3 on the quick throw to the WR to his side, which is common. The 3 other times was a running back in pass protection, which is also common.

It was a well played and well called game.

All the articles point to Trash Talking Miami team, a cheap shotting Miami team, and Vince Valentine says that Randy Gregory is a hothead.

He better keep that anger in check otherwise it may cost Nebraska a game down the road.

Gregory will be fine. The program needed a game like this and it couldn't have come against an opponent more known for that style of play.

Nebraska took some shots to the chin and kept coming. The team grew up a bunch last night and it should be a benefit going forward in their road games.
