So beating 2 ranked teams is better than beating 4 ranked teams?
Yes, if the 1st team is undefeated and the 2nd team isn't

The only way an undefeated nebraska doesn't get in the play offs is if the ACC/SEC/Pac 10/Big 12 champion or ND goes undefeated too. There has to be 4 other undefeated teams.

"No way. We're Alabama. You know the Saban Alabama? The SEC Alabama?
We've only had one undefeated season in the last 21 years, so we deserve do-overs." - fred
So by your own rule, Notre Dame had shown themselves to be more deserving than Alabama and it doesn't matter which team in reality is better? Interesting.
So beating 2 ranked teams is better than beating 4 ranked teams?
During the regular season, yes.
We should have gotten a 2nd game with Alabama, you know, like when Alabama got a 2nd chance at LSU?
If that's the system we're using, I want Alabama to go play in the B1G or ACC.
Beating 2 ranked teams means you did all that was asked of you.
Beating 4 ranked teams and losing to some other team means you DIDN"T do all that was asked of you.
I don't care if you are Alabama, Nick Saban, or the SEC. This is 2014.
Win all your games or fall into the pool of one and 2 loss teams.
It would've been the same.
LSU beat us by 3, how much did we beat ND by?
Fact is, the idea should be for it to be the 4 best teams in the country. Anything else leaves us with an illegitimate result.
That's fine.
Whatever would you do without all the Mother Ship hype? Whatever would you do without all the do-overs?

You're right, the four best teams. So if there are 4 teams that are undefeated and Alabama has a loss, get the fuck out.
Hey dipshit. In 2012 Alabama would have been one of the other 3 teams in anyway.
You understand that right?
Fact is we play better teams and more of them. Alabama isn't the only team in that position either, I just used them because it was gonna come back to Alabama anyhow.
Are you using previous years to establish that or the first 5 weeks of this year?
How do you know?
It would've been the same.

All that was asked of you? We're not talking about the special olympics here.
