In fairness there are a lot of folks in the Rock and Roll HOF who should not be. Run DMC anyone? or for that matter any rapper or hip hop artist.

That's why I listed multiple ways The Beatles are considered to be great.........
not just by the R&R hof

Just as I am amazed at liberals who let their rock stars influence their politics.

I'm not influenced by anyone. But I do admire people who MIRROR my beliefs.
And conservatives have very few conservative artists who have any talent......too bad.....
Conservatives must feel lost when it comes to music, movies, writers, and artists.

Kill Em' All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets and ...And Justice for All are up there for the best first 4 albums ever, from any band in any genre.


They suck a fat dick after that, but those first 4 are fucking incredible. 10 songs is laughable. There is not a bad song on any of those albums.

I'll admit that. I just really don't respect the cliff they fell off of, after that.

100% agree, but the Beatles are a no brainer, they may be the most influential rock band as well as the best.

A decent choice. Great rock voices on lead, but musically there's nothing there that's remotely interesting, imo. They're just loud.

If I was 13 when Kiss broke big I might have been a fan. But I was 19 with an extensive record collection and appreciation for many of the greats who preceded them, including Alice Cooper who did the theatrical/outrageous thing in a much more interesting way.. not to mention his music was better, imo. Some of their "anthem" type songs are good tunes, though.

Pretty much anyone who dies young will be slightly overrated.

Nirvana, fosho. I like Nirvana enough, but they are far from the best band from that era/scene.

Spawning from that, Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters are overrated. Sorry @bamabear82
