LOL. You keep posting that like a I give a shit. USC doesn't put up division banners or conference banners. Rose bowls and Championships . USC finished ranked higher than the B10, Pac 12, PAC south winners and beat all three. So your banners are worthless.
SC finished 2nd in their division. They didn't even manage to make it to the conference championship game.

And beat both of the ones who did. Again, you think anyone cares? lol. No one thinks those two where better. Look at the rankings. Go find me anyone who thinks Colorado was better or had a better year.

The point of disciplining is to encourage and bring about a change in behavior for the better. It is not a preventive measure in itself because it's always done in response to an action.

In this case, the response was the 4th player being suspended.

Since the point of it is to bring about change, the threat of the discipline can act as a deterrent. The is the only "preventive measure" you can get from that, but no matter how much discipline is behind it, it will not prevent everything. Because it has no actual preventive measures in it.

So when you say a team isn't well disciplined and blame the coach, I look to see how the coach is responding. If the coach is handing out discipline, then the team is still well discipline - you are talking about a bad egg. And given this is a case of sexual assault, not something like being late for class, I'm not even sure how the fuck the team/coach is supposed to prevent it.

Since you believe discipline is a preventive measure, please explain to me the things Dantonio needed to do to prevent these sexual assaults from happening.

If you can't do that, please explain to me what it is that other coaches are doing to prevent it. You know, since it's a preventive measure.

If you truly think discipline is not a preventative measure. Then why the hell discipline anyone?

And the fact you say, if a coach is handing out discipline, they are a well disciplined team -- tells me you STILL have no idea of the difference between discipline and disciplined.

When 20% of your team is suspended for one reason or another in a 6 month period -- NEWSFLASH -- that is not a disciplined team. Using your logic -- you could have your entire roster get arrested and as long as the coach hands out a punishment -- you consider them a disciplined team. :L

You're trying to punk a team that beat yours. You're a comedic genius.

Congrats. You're the Clippers while USC is the Lakers. You guys gonna build a building for that conference game trophy? LOL.
One more than Oregon. Way to go.

So the 80% is meaningless, but the 20% defines the team.

Keep thinking that when SC fails to win the conference this year.

USC winning or not winning the conference does nothing to elevate UW to anywhere close to USCs level and history. But nice try.

You continue to make yourself look more and more foolish. Tell us more about how discipline isn't a preventive measure. That one really makes you look like a genius. :L

So explain how more discipline could have lead to preventing the sexual assaults.

I'm sure you'll just divert once again.

My personal opinion, and it is nothing more than opinion. I think the players bought into the culture he built within the program and in year's past, they were happy and winning, so they continued to buy in.

I think this past year, they lacked senior leadership, the team was struggling tremendously and the players quit caring.

Also -- the sexual assault was only one instance. 4 different players and a coach have been suspended in two different sexual assaults. Spitting in the cops face wa another suspension. A white player calling a black player a 'n****r' was another incident. Having 15 other players 'red locked' and not being allowed to dress for the spring game is another incident or incidents (refused to answer why they were in trouble).

It isn't one sexual assault. It is one incident after another for the football team. And the school as a whole has been dealing with headline after headline after headline with former bball players (r*pe, domestic violence), the school doctor charged with molesting like 100 gymnasts.

Obviously these aren't Dantonio issues, but MSU has been dealing with negative press here for the better part of the year.

So it's not Dantonio's fault according to you, but now they are somehow an undisciplined team? That doesn't make any sense? One of two things has to have happened. Dantonio is still teaching the same philosophies of discipline and kids are fucking up, or Dantonio isn't teaching the same philosophies on discipline and due to that the kids are fucking up. MSU can still be a well disciplined team and have kids fuck up, is what I'm trying to say.

Even Pete Carroll has forsaken USC.
