He made that pretty obvious. I guess my point is that initially, there has to be attention drawn to an issue before those sorts of discussions will take place. They used a very public venue to draw attention to their cause...and they are getting an opportunity to take action now that they likely wouldn't have had before.

I think so too. Plenty of miss-perception out there. When it comes to life and death, there should be certainty.

Their job is to protect people and themselves. They don't get paid enough to take a bullet before defending themselves.

Imagine a crazy person fires off a shot and hits the cop in the head. Kills him immediately and then goes off on a rampage and kills a bunch of innoncents. That cop wouldn't have been doing his job at all in that case.

@HuskerCradle2Grave is so proud of his Liberal badge that he sports that he literally thinks cops should die in order to make sure a crazy person really is crazy first. Then, hopefully another cop shows up on the scene quick enough to take down the crazy person.

If people want to protest a guy getting killed simply because he's black, then that is fair game. I encourage that.

But trust me when I say this.....if a cop tells a white man to follow his order, and then the white man pulls something out of his pocket and points it at the cop.....he's getting shot. And the same goes for a black man.
