my personal belief... Bosh and Wade dont opt out. I dont think either would get max deals given what has happened. bosh's stats have taken a hammering... only a truly bad team in need of an all-star to sell seats might be desperate enough to hand him a max deal. so if he doesnt want to play for jordan, he stays in miami and doesnt opt out. wade is will be 32 after next season and his health has become an issue.. hard to see someone handing him max money. of course if he comes out next year and goes for 25/6/6 and stays healthy, all bets are off.

lebron opts out because he can and financially it makes the most sense. im guessing he resigns in Miami.. especially if they 3 peat. he would have a chance at 4 in a row something jordan/magic/bird/kobe/shaq never did. would be a huge legacy enhancer.

Better chance of the Al Quaeda sending the US a fruit basket.

Very possible.

Scenario 1: Bosh probably won't opt out though, therefore he would have to be traded.

Other scenario easily could be they are coming off a 3 peat and they all opt out, sign discounted contract again, and bring in more talent.

Further killing the NBA... Hey maybe hockey can make a comeback... you know until the next lockout.

Sorry clown. No way I become a Laker fan until Kobe has retired or until he learns to play right.

Damn Kobe, after 17 years, 5 rings, and being a top 10 player of all time, you need to learn how to play right.

As I said on here if LBJ leaves Miami, he is not going to LA to fight with Kobe over who the top dog is. If he leaves it will be elsewhere.

Kobe already made it be known that whoever comes to LA will be the 2nd option as long as he is a lakers

I don't think either of them comes to the Lakers. Better chance one of them would have if Dwight had resigned.

No chance in hell Lebron goes to LA, especially Melo and Lebron. But Melo alone a possibility.

Lebron has a way better chance of going to Cleveland than LA, considering they have a younger core and really a better shot at the playoffs and eventually a title.

Yeah, I doubt they do as well. But sure is fun watching Heat fans get there panties in a twist every time someone mentions the possibility!!

It's like they're trying to convince themselves that it won't happen!! They have got to be the most insecure fanbase in league history!! :becky:

Well look at the East it is pretty weak except for a couple teams, then they have a real young core. Playoffs is a possiblity and maybe 2nd round but that is if healthy and everything works out.

But LA doesn't match the West. Old, slow, but experienced, just too many young high flyers out West competing. They need some trades or free agent signings.

You do realize that those old, slow guys will be gone by the time the Lakers could even make an offer to Lebron, Melo or anyone else, right?

You really need to get over the old, slow thing. It's like you think those guys are all signed for the next 5 years or something!!
