This may sound a bit cocky but I feel like I drafted a better team than Ram

Have to disagree on that. My rb depth gives me a nice edge in my opinion. We for sure will see though

I agree about you having the edge at RB. I feel like we're even at WR for the most part. I think QB and TE will put me over the top. But as you said we'll see. :suds:

@bksballer89 I just don't see where your team matches up with mine.. You have a small advantage at Qb but I don't see a big point differential between the two.. and Olsen vs Doyle in a non ppr to me is not that big of an advantage.. Doyle will get his tds... At Wr and Rb I feel I hold a strong edge in my opinion

I also believe Kareem Hunt takes Spencer Wares job by midseason

Love these debates. It really does add some juice to these leagues.

But again Joe, I did not draft Dixon in the first 2 rounds. Or the first 7 rounds for that matter. He is not a projected fantasy starter for me. None of you guys are using your RB4 before byes hit unless you run into serious problems.

Waiting for Bell and waiting for Dixon is not nearly the same.
Once again, tlance kills Joe with logic. :L

Where is Sammy with his breakdown of our matchup?
You got the RB's, I have the WR's..........comes down to the QB and TE..............think it would be close TBH

EDIT: And since we have the same TE I guess it comes down to Ben vs Luck...........

Pretty much how I see it. Like my chances Of squeaking it out, given Bens tendency to get injured and also my backup is a bit better at QB, might end up being important.

At pick 6 my couterpart in the B league is OBX.
QB- Luck vs Brady- I would call this a wash only because I think Brady will show some age and Luck got a little OL help.- Even
RB- OBX has some talent but I would give the edge to my guys: Shady/Gurley over M Gordon/L Murray. Advantage Fuzzies
WR- With OBX waiting to draft his WR until the end of the draft, I would be disappointed if my guys didn't consistently win this battle: Cooks/Watlins/Snead over Z Jones/Doctson/Ross- Big advantage to Fuzzies
TE- OBX has the best TE in the league. Gronk over Eifert- Big advantage to OBX
DST- About even- Seahawks vs Patriots
K- Gostkowski is pretty good kicker on a good team-Gostkowski over Mason- advantage OBX
Bench- OBX has more depth at RB. I have more depth at WR. we both have decent backup QBs- Even

Honest analysis- Fuzzies over OBX assuming no major injuries- yea like we can count on that
It's Suicide I tell you!

Going strictly by ESPN projections for the 2017 season. Let's focus on the starters for now

Rodgers (1)> Newton (7)
Lynch (13)> Ingram (16)
Ware (20) > Mixon (25)
Edelman (20) > Crabtree (22)
Benjamin (34) > Shepard (48)
Olson (4) > Doyle (13)
Tucker (1) > Vinatieri (4)
Cardinals (4) > Vikings (8)

Yeah, I have Ram on this one.............wonder how much AP ends up hurting Ingram.....If this was PPR Edleman would be a good WR2 but not sold on him this year in Standard...I think BMarsh really hurts Shepard...I actually like Ware but Rams bench is way better IMO.

This one is close. I for one doubt Lynch plays the whole season, so AP cutting into Ingrams touches may not matter. Edelman isn't worth much in standard leagues ( real nice in PPR though), however Benjamin blow up to OL size so IDK, besides Panthers added a lot of other options. De finely like Rogers over Cam, not even close there, could actually be the difference. Still like Crabtree over Shepard and really like Rams bench over bksballer bench. Should be very close IMO.

Maybe I need to do a comparison between drafted rookies and drafted vets?
maybe even start in the 9th round.
Should I just compare positions in each round? That might be fair.
Rookies v Veterans
All based on standard rankings and scoring from 2016 only.
Also based on ECR, ADP and KOTF draft averages.
Because this is what I had available, and easy to reference.

Round 8
Rookie RB Derrick Henry was a 8th round pick. He finished with 92.7 points.
The other 3 RB selected in round 8 averaged 131.9 points.
Vets win round 8.

Round 9
2 WR rookies were selected: Corey Coleman and Sterling Shepard. They averaged 89.95 points with Coleman as the clear leader.
3 veterans WR selected in round 9 averaged 57.8 points.
Rookies win round 9.

Round 10
No rookies selected.

Round 11
RB Devontae Booker finished with 111.7 points.
2 veteran RB selected averaged 111.9 points.
Tie.

Round 12
WR Michael Thomas finished with a whopping 163.3 points.
Five vets averaged a paltry 73.6 points.
Also, RB DeAndre Washington finished 68.2 points.
Three other RB averaged 124.3 points.
Tie?

Round 13
2 WR were selected: Will Fuller V and Tajae Sharpe. They averaged 69.5 points.
No vets were drafted in round 13.
Rookies win by default.

Round 14
WR Tyler Boyd finished with 70.1 points.
2 other vets averaged 73.9 points.
While I'd love to say the vets won, this is essentially a tie.

Well maybe Benjamin will get the GL carries????

That was why I said that "if" you drafted him as a RB2, I was not insinuating in any way that you drafted him a RB2. Yes later in the season I think he will be a good option and it is a weekly game that we play, so if he can help you go 6-0 from weeks 9-14 then he's well worth it. My argument was just simply that they aren't going to just hand this guy the keys to the kingdom in week 5 and from a seasonal standpoint he has no chance of finishing inside the top 20 for running backs.

I would disagree at QB. But I think your WR give you enough of an advantage to win 10 or 11 against me.

I'm going to be comparing my team to averagejoe's team here, since we both picked at the #1 spot. Early glance, I think I have the better team so far.
