Hey all. . The coma league discussion kinda died in the the other thread. . So to those interested, let's move here. Still looking for a true head count. Thus far Here's where we sit. ..

I'll be out of town for the next week, will still be able to check in and all, but given the roster restraints of the Coma, I wouldn't be able to realistically Draft without picking Suicide guys constantly.
So, let's simmer for a week and get after it then.

Guess that reminds me. . Was it ever decided about "A & B" mixing and matching? Whose player pool? (Given the 6 thus far my vote there would go to the leftovers from our Draft). And I also think the owner cap should be somewhere around 8.

I'm not for the mix of pools - - and since all that are in it so far are from "A" that's what we should use. As for limit, 8 sounds fine if we go more than that the pool will be very, very, very thin.

just got back in town from a little vacation - next week sounds good, I like the 8 team cap, and if we draw from suicide A pool that works fine for me as well.

Trudem - suicide league but you can't draft anybody who was drafted in the first suicide league.

Well if Steelers has no problem grabbing leftovers from "the other" Draft, and everyone else is on board. . That gives us 7.. room for one more.

I would mostly agree here. Not for seperation or segregation purposes, but more that if the other guys can drum up the interest, I'm sure they'd need the two of you to fill out the league. But by no means take that as we don't want you, we'd take toy in a heart beat

I feel like this COMA league is to specific towards the Suicide, that it takes away from the experiment to allow NEW comers in...

So even though you guys are too nice to say WE DONT WANT YOU... I know for a fact you guys don't want us in this league...

That's fine but depending on which 6 we end up from our side will be the determining factor as to whether I'm going to do the league. It was brutal enough the first time. I volunteered for the coma league because Lefty texted me and said they needed an 8th to round things out. If they would rather go about it with six that's fine too. I really don't see why the suicide has anything to do with the coma anyway. All it does is eliminate certain guys from your player pool, but why should it matter which guys are eliminated. You either scratch them off your list of leave them on there. If there are guys available still from the A league draft that we drafted in the B league, I'm sure the members of the A league don't really give a shit because there was a reason they didn't draft them in the first place.

The relation to the Suicide league was just the most convenient way to force people to pick sleepers. You could maybe use something like excluding the top 156 ADP, but this way ensures that 12 Ks were already taken, etc. I don't think it matters a lot which league's you draft use to exclude players. (I was even toying with the idea of jumping into the Coma league myself.) So I'm sure you guys would be welcome.

But needing 6-8 owners per league, with nine or so already interested, two leagues makes sense.

if Lefty wants you in then that's another story... I thought they were being NICE saying that our league owners can join...

But I am sure we can easily find 6 or more owners to do it for our league... In reality it was really only silver and JD that gave us problems...
