That 2010 Rose Bowl vs Ohio State. The Bucs hogged all the seats man... Had scalpers driving up the price to $200 + for Duck fans...:lame:

Never seen that big of an exodus to a Bowl game... Followed closely by Wisky at same venue... Very close...

I hope they go to NCG this year! It is in NO, close by here. No way I would go to Cali, or Miami.

and yes. Would love for Oregon to get another shot at the Bucs. 0-8 all time vs tOSU. Gotta get win #1 at some point one would think...

As far as teams that travel well... I think the B1G has that on lock. Were you at the Rose Bowl? Wisconsin had nearly 2/3 of the Rose Bowl filled while the other 1/3 were Duck fans.

Yup. I wanted to run on the field and tackle that scrawny little track guy myself.

You're lucky it was our second year in a row. I know a lot of people that would have gone but passed because they went the year before.

Wisconsin still filled more than half the stadium against Stanford earlier this year I don't even know how that's possible 1) playing in the same bowl for the 3rd straight year; and 2) with a team that's 8-5 going into the game.

LEL! Well if you can run a 4.27 you may have a shot.

Black Mamba is in whom you are referring...

I run a 4.27.... 15 yards at a time...

SEC Official is right, it is the design. Compared to others the Shoe is not as loud. I was surprised at the Big House and with over 100k it was not loud at all, comparibly. But they have made some mods since I have been there to help keep sound in the stadium.

Still one of my favorite places to watch a game...

That would be an interesting list.. best atmospheres based on competitive fans behavior, etc.

I enjoyed tOSU...

Hated... UGA and FSU. People were just plain nasty. And being barked at by UGA fans may be acceptable in Athens, but it looks and feels so wrong.. you almost want to burst our laughing.

I refuse to believe Oregon is that loud with 45k people or whatever. I'm sure the acoustics make it surprisingly loud for its size... but louder than the Shoe, Camp Randall, Bryant-Denny, the Swamp, etc? No way.

well if Big Apple Badger doesn't believe it we all must be wrong.

I am pretty sure it was Lloyd Carr that said it was the loudest he had ever been in.
Adrian Peterson made some comments about the noise too.
Jahvid Best has also said it was the only place that got to him.
Corso has said it was per person, the loudest he had ever been in.
but what do they know they probably never played in anything bigger than Autzen.

Big Apple Badger doesn't believe it guys. Arguement over, we can all go home.

To think the LSU crowd registered their earthquake sitting on their hands screaming is naive. We all know on that play the entire crowd jumped to their feet and were going nuts jumping up and down.

thats my point jumping up and down causes the Richter reading not the screaming and yelling.

I agree its not the noise causing it but those moments are probably some of the loudest moments in sports. The don't keep db meters in every stadium sadly so its hard to get a real reading of the loudest. I wish schools would do that though, it would be awesome to see how high the schools could crank the meters up.

That surprises me too. 1) For possible engineering or even safety concerns. 2) For bragging rights... durr.

Yeah but the problem is where do you put it to make sure you have the loudest area. and you cant really keep it on the field either.

Behind the visitors bench at the 50? Just don't announce where the node is and put the results up on the scoreboard

I was going to suggest near each team's benches. Then you can measure that difference as well.
