Game Thread: Lions at Bears Week 4

Lions need a win this week for sure or things will unravel sooner rather than later. That would be bad and here is why.

We definitely need to walk a fine line this year. If we lose too much Caldwell will get axed mid season which would be a disaster. That would mean bringing in a no name coach or promote one of the coordinators that could really mess things up and set the team further back. Lions need to win just enough to allow Caldwell to finish the season but still get fired so we can have the pick of the litter next year and not lose our coordinators.

Things to note:

No Ziggy and no Levy on defense. Taylor probably out. Hopefully Wilson is out too. Seen enough of that guy.

No AA on offense. He is probably done this year.

I think it is time to try A Dobson returning kicks (and maybe receiving too). Roberts had his chances and so far not impressed.

I hope the Lions use this as a get right game. They should have won their home opener, and the game in Green Bay shouldn't have been so lopsided by half-time.
