Clearly you didn't read the post that I lifted from wikipedia on the subject. But for the record. Moses didn't go straight to the NBA from high school.
I did see it eventually, but he got paid to play professional basketball w/o ever registering a college basketball statistic.

Therefore, he made the jump from H.S to professional basketball.

The ABA wasn't the NBA. That is why the ABA folded. The NBA wouldn't have him. Not talent wise perhaps but because of their rules requiring a demonstration of hardship. But Moses is neither here nor there. This line of discussion began when someone commented that LBJ went pro from high school and MJ did not. You couldn't just walk into the NBA back then (had to show hardship) like you can "now"...

Exactly.....Moses and many others had the talent to have went straight to the NBA if they were allowed to. That's probably why when the ABA and NBA played exhibition games, the ABA won more often because they didn't have a 4yr rule.

To say MJ could have played professionally (or even drafted) right out of H.S is a stretch at most. Not saying that's a knock against him......just saying

Lebron isn't even the best player on his team. Wade is carrying this team on his back.

Lebron = GOAT? Please. That's whitewash on Wade.

Who seriously drinks from the bottle? Heathens, I swear.

And my drinking habits or future social networks are not the topic of this thread or forum. I do think there is a drinking forum though.

Try the new cognac infused vodka, Twenty Grand. Its a little sweet but its 80 proof and goes down as smooth as mother's milk. Word.

Lebron #1 in the league right now. Fact. Not debatable. No bias just telling it how it is. :suds:

Upon earning a spot on the varsity roster in high school as a junior, Jordan averaged about 20 points per game over his final two seasons of high school play. As a senior, he was selected to the McDonald's All-American Team after averaging a triple-double: 29.2 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 10.1 assists.

As a freshman at UNC, in coach Dean Smith's team-oriented system, he was named ACC Freshman of the Year after he averaged 13.4 points per game on 53.4% shooting. He made the game-winning jump shot in the 1982 NCAA Championship game against Georgetown. During his three seasons at North Carolina, he averaged 17.7 ppg on 54.0% shooting, and added 5.0 rebounds per game. He was selected by consensus to the NCAA All-American First Team in both his sophomore (1983) and junior (1984) seasons. He won the Naismith and the Wooden College Player of the Year awards in 1984.

But let's look at numbers. These are Jordan's at age 21 (as a rookie) after playing basketball 3 years in college with "boys".
FG% 51.5
FT% 84.5
TRB 534
AST 481
STL 196
BLK 69
TOV 291
Points 2313

Now let's look at LBJ's after playing in the League with men for 3 years (at age 21).
FG% 48
FT% 73.8
TRB 556
AST 521
STL 123
BLK 66
TOV 260
Points 2478

You would think that with LBJ being such a "man among boys" and have honed his craft in the League for 3 years versus playing with kids in college, that his stats as a third year pro would be head and shoulders above a rookie that just spent 3 years not playing with the best of the best. But wait. That doesn't look to be the case.

Hmmmmmm...

Funny that the stats tell a different story. There are currently 13 players rated ahead of your goat. Oops.

and Kobe will make HOF on his first ballot....can't wait till he gets back so he can continue to jack up shots, fail to get them to playoffs, all on a surgically repaired achilles at 35 yrs of age. Wait that's what the haters will say....never mind, he'll right our young/old ship and boost our energy level even higher.
