League starts:

QB
RB
RB
WR
WR
TE

DL
LB
CB
S
DP
D/ST (Your IDPs have to come from your defense so no IDP keepers)
K

Keep 5

Definites:

Freeman
Ajayi
Cooper
Evans

Maybes:

Winston
Tyreek Hill
Bortles (Least likely of the maybes)

Probably nots:

Jordan Reed

What do you think?

This isn't a time crunch either. Draft won't be until the last week of the pre-season

not much of a choice... I'd say Hill pretty easily, unless maybe Reed looks healthy AND Hill looks like he won't be able to cut the WR1 thing... but if Hill looks like he can handle the role, I don't think Reed would sway me, despite his upside.

QB wouldn't be my choice unless the league is 14 teams or larger.

I was realistically choosing between Winston and Hill at this point. Was worried Hill was sort of a gadget player that is lightning in a bottle or a dud.

Hill first (with Maclin gone), (just my personal bias but wouldn't consider Reed as a keeper), next up is Winston for me.

Assuming this is standard scoring and your keepers take your top 5 draft picks

Winston 9th round value imo i'm sure the hype from his new weapons will cause him to get selected earlier though i wouldn't use a keeper on him unless it was original round tender

Hill 6th round value, but he has a lot of upside by the time the August/September drafts roll around he'll probably be going in the 2nd/3rd rounds if you're willing to roll the dice keep him

Bortles He doesn't have any value as a keeper and i wouldn't consider him until very late in a standard draft

Reed Safest option you have imo same productive offense and QB as last year, already a top target, and aside from Crowder the other top targets have moved on so he probably gets a few extra until Doctson or Pryor step up.

I would find someone with weak keepers and offer Hill and Reed (maybe Winston, too if they have really weak keepers) and see what you can get with that. I bet you could probably get someone like DHop or Allen Robinson or someone like that who disappointed last season and are a good bounce back candidate.

Partly True, for 6-8 games he'll be a stud - then you'll be looking for an injury replacement.

I think hill is overhyped, i mean once maclin returned he was a non factor in the passing game, not that he was massive prior to that.........

if you cant get a trade go for hill, but id still try to trade

I'm liking what everyone is saying so far, I'm thinking I'm going to try and package a few of the guys together (Hill, Winston, Reed) and try and find a team with weak keepers and upgrade my last keeper.

RB3 and 4 was Henry and Ware

Henry would be awfully tempting to hold for the 2018 season. I really don't see Murray staying healthy enough to hold him off after another year of tread on the tires. But you can probably redraft him since he's still the RB2 in Tenn right now.

But if you can package and get a guy like Gordon (young, little competition for touches on current roster, showed he could be successful in the NFL last season but still not an established "stud"), do it.

Might even be able to package Henry in a deal to the Murray owner this year if that team is weak at RB with little options after each team keeps 5 players.

Henry is absolutely your last keeper then!

Much more long term upside than the others.

No brainer for me.

would like to know if PPR or not... but with starting 2-2+ flex, and already keeping 2 RBs and 2 WRs, i don't see any FORCED keepers...

it is between Henry and Hill to me... and i would wait later into the preseason to really even debate this... the interesting question is if PPR even matters... is Hill going to be a PPR beast or is he just going to be another short WR?? an inconsistent, but occasional STUD!!! if so, predicting those STUD games will definitely give you a headache...

I like Henry over Hill, Winston and whoever else you were debating. I would still go the trade route.

Since @MilkSpiller22 asked and I probably should have made it known ahead of time, here's some of the scoring rules that are making the decision tough.

.5 point PPR
1 point for every 25 kick and punt return yards.
2 points for rushing/receiving/passing 2 pt conversion
3 points for 100 yard rushing/receiving game
5 points for 200 yard rushing/receiving game
