How could they all be gone at 4? Browns own 2 of the top 4 meaning only 2 of the 3 could be gone when it is their turn to pick at #4

Say the Browns draft Barkley at 1

Unknown Team picking 2nd drafts a QB

Team picking 3rd drafts Rosen/Darnold/Allen

That's two QB's before the word go and a complete wildcard with the Giants pick. The Broncos would take a QB after 4 as well.

Browns got to be licking their chops. That 4th pick is extremely valuable with it being ahead of the Broncos.

browns would be smart to stay right where they are and pick the RB at 1

I think that's suicide with how many teams are trying to trade up.

Mayfield, Rosen, and Darnold could all be gone at 4 leaving you with Lamar Jackson, Mason Rudolph, and Josh Allen with teams like the Jags, Saints, Dolphins, and Cardinals looking to get a QB as well. At 4 those are huge reaches, and it just gets more bumpy trying to draft a QB afterwards.

Rosen. Has a very good arm, and has the best ability to hit the middle of the field (a key fact given that's where the most traffic is) since probably Luck as a prospect. He is similarly mobile to Mayfield when he chooses to be and sees the field very well. Additionally, he's fairly accurate so the translation should be pretty good with his mechanics.

He has some Luck-esque brainfarts, but you can live with that when the alternative is Darnold, Rudolph Allen, Jackson, etc who are all magnitudes worse. Mayfield is a worthy 1B, however.

They have the fourth, but the odds of 2 and 3 being QB's are very high if they took Barkley #1 like a lot on this board have wanted them to do. Very possible their QB is gone.

They're better off cutting out the unknowns and picking what is easily the most valuable position in football at 1 in a year with good prospects at the top that do stand out between Rosen and Mayfield [they'll probably pick Darnold because Browns, but play along] than anything else. They can trade down at 4 and get a king's ransom given the Broncos are picking at 5.

Of course, but the Rams wouldnt take back the Goff trade, the Eagles wouldnt take back the move up for Wentz......I think its a high probability all 4 QB's were gone by 6, and the Jets were looking at another year of floundering with no future QB on the roster........
