Very dull game aside from the 100 yard Holland pick six. The Jets offense is just lousy, Fins took care of business despite 3 turnovers.

The Dolphins have played messy, mistake-riddled, penalty-flag-happy, multi-turnover football...but ultimately they've been out-clusterfucked.

I like Robert Salah a ton. But they have to fire him. This team has completely quit. Guys out there not even trying. Coaches can't survive that or come back from that. I absolutely think he can be successful somewhere else, and in no way is it his fault. But once those players start tuning him out like that I have never seen a coach come back from that.

Technically he was "out." Only way he played was if Boyle and Seimien got hurt

Yeah. This has come up before, (but maybe on another of Shaggy's forums). A designated #3 QB only shows up on the game reports if he actually gets into the game. It means it's impossible to tell afterwards if the team had a #3 QB for the game or not. I only know he was the #3 QB today because he was pictured on the sideline and the commentators then said he was the designated #3 QB. Maybe he'll be better next year. His salary is guaranteed so the Jets might as well be patient with him through the off-season.

Cut or bench....it won't matter either way and if a top 3 qb is available in the draft then try again.

No they weren't. This is a communications issue that won't be addressed before the 2024 season. Teams can nominate an emergency #3 QB if they have a 3rd QB on their 53-man roster. It's a no-brainer to do so if you have a 3rd QB taking up a roster spot. For NFL recording purposes no QB has been an emergency #3 QB at any game this season despite numerous teams carrying 3 or more QBs. There's no way every team has chosen to NOT nominate their 3rd QB for any game. This is just the system by which the NFL are recording it...and it's a really stupid system. The NFL seems to be concerned about game-day players gaining an accrued season pension eligibility or losing PS roster eligibility under rules that no longer exist.
