Its not too early for that. He is in over his head. Doesn't mean he can't work his way out of it. Gibbs was in over his head year 1 for the first half of the season.

My concern is he has quit.

By far the worst head coach in the league. I wouldn't blame Synder for cleaning house.

Gibbs was not in over his head. His 5 game losing streak was not filled with blowouts, shutouts and embarrassment. His team got better as the season went along, not worse.

Please NEVER compare Joe Gibbs to Jay Gruden ever again!

He said himself he was in over his head. The difference was that Cooke came to him and told him he had complete confidence in him and he said it made all the difference in the world. He settled down and started to be a HC.

I never compared Gruden to Gibbs, I stated a fact. Sorry if it hurt your feelings.

Now that is hilarious. Not because of the view point on Gruden but Snyder cleaning house. All Snyder has ever done is clean house while at the same time over paying for free agents. Snyder IS the problem. If there is a problem with Gruden who the hell hired him?

Synder didn't clean house. Hazlett is still here.

That story completely runs counter to my memory of Gibbs first start, where Cooke went to Beathard and almost fired him for hiring Gibbs after the 0-5 start, but Beathard urged patience.

Bottom line is. Jay Gruden sucks and Joe Gibbs is a HOF coach. Any comparison between their respective careers is silly.

OK so we fire Gruden and Haslett, we keep Allen and RG3 (because you know Dan is now STILL thinking its not the QB that is a part of the problem).......

Who do we bring in as coach?? Who would be willing to take this job?? If Gruden is fired and Griffin retained and once again named the starter, Art Briles will be the guy they go after.

When I say clean house. I mean front office people too like Allen. The new coach is going to want a new Qb and his name is Winston.

Dean... I will call it right now. If we draft Winston this team will not see another Super Bowl in our life times. I would rather see us bring Jason Campbell back than draft this train wreck waiting to happen.

wanting to draft winston means you are snyder JR . bash the owner then do the same shit he does

picking the sexy pick over doing the right thing and getting an o/line together

then we end up with jamarcus winston

Briles wants nothing to do with this mess. He basically said so last year. He is a God in Waco. Why mess that up?

IM not predicting he will take the job, but that will be the main focus if Gruden is fired at the end of the season. And more pointedly, who do you think WOULD take the job??

no one will take the job that would make a difference if you keep changing coaches like under wear

So just out of curiosity... you still think we made the right call firing Shanahan for the sake of the QB??
