I don't think those have the full power of a 12g round behind them either. I think they Nerf those a bit and use less powder. I'd have to imagine that if you put those in a regular shotgun shell they'd be lethal as well.

As silly putty sits, it slowly oozes more like a liquid and if its not packed inside the shell completely, I don't see how it would work?

good point....you'd have to keep your shotgun stored perfectly vertical
