Yeah and in some ways, they're similar to some passes in football where the QB is throwing to a spot knowing the WR is going there. In the NBA they see a guy breaking, know where he's going and just put the ball where he's headed.

In all honesty, pretty much anyone who plays a fair amount and knows the game can make that type of pass.

In my younger days I played in a few different leagues and made a few no-look passes.

Pretty sure none of those were the NBA though. lol
