Im a Yankees fan, I haven't ever celebrated just falling short of winning a title, ever

So maybe that's where I get it from

Who said anything about celebrate? My point is that they are the only team held to the standard you put forth. (A cherry picking one at that)

Because you keep harping on Seattle's choice to throw i and they shouldn't have won that SB . Brady played good in that SB, kudos to Giants D and Eli for scoring to win. Brady has cost the Pats some games and playoffs, no doubt but he has been good, elite more times

Fair enough

Honestly, every time the Pats win, its because they are great

Every time they lose, its because the other team got lucky

The Pats have had a TON of Luck go their way in winning titles, so it goes both ways

Nope, sometimes they just suck and the other team is much better.

You probably should start celebrating when the Yankees make the playoffs or win the division. Seems like a rare occurrence.

Why would it be refreshing, it's what most people think and post?

It's why he carefully cherry picks time frames for his argument.

Not as rare as finishing in last place

Yeah, that's total bullshit

All I hear about Pats losses, is about lucky catches or whatever

Which is funny coming from Pats fans

Proves my previous point about blindness.

It's not true, especially when you consider how long of a span we are talking about. The AFC has had it's dominant years during that time, and it's weaker years during that time. The fact that the Patriots have been more dominant overall doesn't change that.

Yeah I would say they have had 8 years where they could have won championships, not including this one. They've won 4. So they aren't lucky or unlucky. It's evened out.
