Someone posted the other day in another thread that no SB winning team has won a playoff game in several years. I wouldn't bet on that trend extending to this year.

How many of those teams hosted a home playoffs game? I'm pretty sure most of those teams either missed the playoffs or was a WC team. If Seattle win the division they should end that trend

I was thinking the same for the Saints ironically. If they play at Home for the championship, I'd favor them.

Seattle and NO are the two favorites to win the NFC and both are better at home than they are on the road. There is obviously still a lot of football to be played, however, before we should concern ourselves with home field advantage in the NFCC game! LOL

Totally agree. I'm never a fan of prognosticating early in the season, period. Too many ifs involved. Personally think you need a minimum of 6 games to even effectively analyse what the nature of the team is that year.

Seahawks have a VERY good chance of doing something truly historic this season. That being said, I still give the edge to the Saints for the #1 seed in the NFC. The difference on schedule, at least on paper, looks to definitely favor NO.
