Wentz is the MVP whether he wins it or not.

The team had the 3rd best O and now can’t reach 200 yards. Put up the TD stats. Put up the 3rd down conversions. Put up the red zone TDS without a turnover. Wentz leads all those.

Brees used to be one of the best tight window throwers but he doesn't do it nowadays as much.

Pretty much a meaningless stat my dear moose. The definition of tight window is blurry to say the least. Who measures the < 1 yard separation? What about a lob pass on the numbers of receiver when surrounded by several defenders more than one yard away? That could be considered tight.

It's not at all meaningless if charted correctly. It represents an aesthetic that's important when considering who fits a roster. For example, Kelvin Benjamin does not fit with Tyrod Taylor or Alex Smith. He may fit with Wentz along with Jeffrey, who has maybe the least separation in the NFL.

He only played in 13 games.

I get what you're saying, but "tight window" is too tight to measure. I'd be willing to bet that all good QBs can thread the needle under the right circumstance. Basically a bullet on the numbers, and the receiver must be able to catch that fast ball.

Can, but will they is another question. This helps answer that question.

This info is skewed due to Rodgers injury. No one in the game better in threading the needle.

Is this a good thing? Does it mean the QB can not find the open receiver? Or does it mean the WRs can't get separation? And how is Trubisky at 18%? He should be at 100% because no Bear WR ever got open this year.

Could be a good thing, could be a very bad thing. Coulds... DeShone Kizer is clearly not the same qualitatively as Carson Wentz. I mostly post this just as a reference. It mostly matters (assuming the QB doesn't suck already) for fit with WR's and TE's. For example, I'd argue Benjamin is a bad fit with Tyrod Taylor based on the minimal separation he gets. Alshon Jeffrey gets some of the least separation in the league statistically, but it works anyways with Wentz.

Only thing he wins is the Least Conditioned QB award. Kid is soft like butter.
