How Often Does Your QB Throw Into Tight Windows?

Assuming Trubisky is at 18% because he didn't very often have open receivers.

His only games where he could have done a better job of taking care of the ball were at Detroit and at Philly.

Other than that, he protected the ball very well.

Yeah...this is a pretty useless table. It's just a number...how does it determine stuff like a QB manipulating coverages with his eyes? How can you gauge the anticipatory throws - throwing guys open? How about pre and post snap reads where the QB gets the ball to the open guy right away? How does it determine if guys straight up stare the receivers down, drawing tighter coverages?

It doesn't do any of that. It is merely one piece of data. Apply it to what you already know.

Brees used to be one of the best tight window throwers but he doesn't do it nowadays as much.

He's pretty much finished now. Needs the run game to win.
