I respect the Patriots organization and their success. When the Seahawks beat the Pats 3 years ago on Wilson's last-minute TD pass, I felt like it was a measuring stick, signifying that the Hawks were clearly on the way up. As far as irrelevancy for the Hawks goes, let's see how the season plays out. After yesterday, I still have hope they can do some damage in the playoffs this year. A Wild Card does not seem so far out of reach as it did two weeks ago. The game Sunday against the Steelers should be a great contest. The Hawks need to keep Antonio Brown from killing them.

In all fairness that happens in a lot of cities where teams are good, especially considering who you are asking. Grade School kids wouldn't know about the Patriots of old in all honesty because all they know is winning.... If you were to ask people who were born in the 50s and 60s it would be a completely different story

My point about the kids intended no harm against them...of course they don't know the history of the team before they were born unless they are hardcore fans abd researched it...the pc just gives you the illusion....kinda funny actually.

I sat through a game in 1980 (I think it was 80) in old Memorial Stadium in Baltimore watching the 1-14 Colts play the 2-13 Patriots. Loser would get the #1 pick. We lost. My attitude toward the Pats is about half way between "absolute hatred" and "indifference". Have to respect their sustained success, at least begrudgingly.

Figure that they will win tonight. Not so sure about next week, though.

I dont really have any thing against any of the specific teams in the league I mean like what did the NFL teams to do me. It is possible though to get some resentment against some of the fan bases because of their personalities and such.
