I have no issue with the Patriots...America loves a winner...all of the turmoil surrounding cheating etc. has made the Pats the hated franchise if you don't root for them.

But...in the Brady/BB era...they have been the model of consistency...we can throw out the weak DIV, etc as reasons, but that's not the Patriot's fault....I was watching a game the other day and the opening was about these kids from the NE area...grade school kids that were so proud of the Patriots...they have no idea that NE sucked for a long time, they don't even know Tony Eaison played QB.

The point here is, NE is not going to be on top forever...enjoy the ride.

In all fairness that happens in a lot of cities where teams are good, especially considering who you are asking. Grade School kids wouldn't know about the Patriots of old in all honesty because all they know is winning.... If you were to ask people who were born in the 50s and 60s it would be a completely different story
